EPISODE 528 – “Ohhh That Smell!” My Nose Hurts

In this Weeks Episode of The Green Line, Art Del Cueto shared his experiences from a trip to San Diego, where he led a group of Congressmen on a tour of the Southern border. He discussed the complexities surrounding asylum claims and deportations, particularly his belief that individuals who miss their court dates shouldn’t be immediately deported. He also highlighted the methods drug smugglers use to bring narcotics into the U.S. and the difficulty of tracking undocumented immigrants who evade capture. Art criticized the current administration for their delayed response to the border crisis and emphasized the need for swift action to address these growing concerns.

During his San Diego visit, Art compared the city to others like Los Angeles and Oakland, noting that while San Diego felt rougher, it was still more enjoyable. He shared an amusing anecdote about attending a Padres vs. Detroit Tigers baseball game, recounting his challenges with parking, including a $50 fee, and navigating the crowded stadium. Despite the costly experience and lingering smell from nearby marijuana use, Art still enjoyed the game, walking around the stadium, getting a hot dog, and even scoring a free Padres pullover.

Art expressed frustration with the high costs associated with attending the baseball game, particularly regarding the confusion around “standing room only” tickets, which led him to purchase more expensive seats that he felt weren’t worth the price. He also pointed out issues with the stadium layout and overall atmosphere. Despite these frustrations, he acknowledged that the game was enjoyable overall and a memorable experience.

In a broader discussion, Art voiced concerns about the homelessness and drug use in cities like Tucson and San Diego. He questioned the leadership’s inaction in addressing these growing problems and emphasized the role of drug cartels in funding their activities through drug smuggling. Art predicted an increase in crime and shoplifting during the holiday season due to the worsening situation, underscoring the urgent need for stronger leadership and immediate action.

EPISODE 527 – Nothing to See Here!

Welcome to another edition of The Green Line. This week, Art Del Cueto has had a hectic schedule, traveling extensively, including a recent Border Tour with Vice Presidential Candidate J.D. Vance along the Southern Border near San Diego.

In a conversation with Andy, Art shares insights from his recent discussion with Former President Trump, questioning whether there’s a concrete plan to address the ongoing border crisis. Art reminds us that during Trump’s previous administration, there were no new immigration laws created, Trump simply enforced the laws already in place. If re-elected, Trump plans to continue this approach, ensuring that those with legitimate asylum claims still have their day in court. Art believes that we would likely see a renewed focus on processing and detaining individuals caught crossing the border illegally, acting as a deterrent to the overwhelming numbers currently seen under the present administration. However, he cautions that implementing these measures will be challenging and time-consuming.

The conversation shifts to a troubling story out of Aurora, Colorado, where a Venezuelan gang, Trend De Aragua, has been making headlines. Despite clear video evidence, some officials are downplaying the situation, insisting that everything is under control. Art draws a parallel to the iconic scene from The Naked Gun movie, where chaos ensues while a character with a megaphone repeatedly assures the crowd that there’s “nothing to see here, everything is fine.” This, Art argues, is emblematic of the current administration’s handling of the border situation—turning a blind eye to the escalating crisis.

The episode takes a somber tone as Art discusses the increasing number of criminals who seem to be evading justice, a situation that hits close to home with the recent updates in the Brian Terry murder case. The violence along the Southern Border, fueled by cartel conflicts and varying enforcement across jurisdictions, continues to claim innocent lives, underscoring the urgency of addressing the border crisis.

EPISODE 526 – Because He Cares

This week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show kicks off with Art Del Cueto sharing his recent experiences at a Freedom First event in Phoenix, earlier this week. Although he missed meeting Linda McMahon, who was not in attendance, Art spoke to an all-women audience about border issues. The following day he made the trip to Sierra Vista. He describes the anticipation for the Republican Candidate Former President Donald Trump’s arrival.  With many of those from the NPCC on hand, Art reflects on the strong sense of camaraderie among local and national leaders in the Border Patrol union, emphasizing how closely-knit the teams have become, working together more effectively than ever.

Art then recounts his emotional response to a harrowing story shared by Alexis, the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, at the border event. The tragic tale of her daughter’s fate deeply affected him, highlighting the human cost of the ongoing border crisis. This leads into a discussion of Art’s involvement in a commercial criticizing Kamala Harris’s approach to border security, which garnered attention from Trump’s team. Art contrasts Trump’s genuine concern for the country, evident in his continued involvement despite his wealth, with the perceived indifference of other political figures like Biden and Harris.

The episode also delves into Art’s encounter with actress Drea de Matteo and her children, reflecting on her career and her former husband’s Shooter Jennings legacy. Art comments how figures like Drea and Gina Carano have been blackballed due to their political stances, yet continue to push forward. He encourages listeners to support these artists by purchasing their products and emphasizes the importance of putting action behind words when it comes to backing those who stand up for their beliefs. Art reminds us of a movie with Gina, a Western titled “Terror On The Prairie. “

As the episode wraps up, Art touches on the importance of staying vigilant and united in the face of opposition. He encourages listeners to follow The Green Line on social media and subscribe to the show on various platforms to stay updated. Art signs off with his usual reminder to “watch your 6,” urging everyone to stay safe and be prepared, reflecting the show’s ongoing commitment to its audience and mission.
