In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto talks about recent comments from DHS Secretary Mayorkas and how when it comes to the Southern Border, the Secretary claims DHS has “Operational Control.” This has Art wondering does Mayorkas really have any clue as to what is happening along the US/Mexico Border. Art tells us about the process of testifying to Congress and what’s involved. We get an explanation of the Term many who have been following the situation have become familiar with, Gotaways. The reality is numbers of people and illegal drugs continue to increase.
Art tells about a new campaign from DHS to monitor social media for spearheading what they are calling Disinformation. Art compares this to the days of the PMRC and wonders what’s ahead. Art goes to the Cody Jinks show in Tucson at the Encore Theater and gives us his review of the show and how he met Cody after the show.
Art had to miss a screening of the Movie “The Green Ghost” with Danny Trejo and tells us why he missed it. Governor Ducey creates the Arizona Border Strike Force hoping to help Southern Communities in combatting human smuggling and trafficking and talks about this filling the void the federal government has left for these towns along the southern border. EPISODE 409 : Peanuts, Puker’s and a Plonker!
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto shares about a recent trip he made which not only had him dealing with Peanuts, Puker’s and a Plonker! If he wanted to write a sequel to Planes, Trains and Automobiles he certainly could base on this trip, except for the two pillows. While we feel bad for Art, we can’t help but snicker at his bad luck. Art did get a good twist of luck though from the people at Hertz Rental Car, so the story ends on a good note. Except that at the end of the trip, Art gets sick, and he thinks he knows why!
Some border crossers when apprehended are choosing to challenge agents and attack them. We learn of a recent battle between an Agent and suspected illegal alien which lasted 17 minutes. Again, the AUSA (Assistant United States Attorney) decides not to prosecute the offender. The onslaught not only has an increase in attacks on Agents but also drug activity and the hiring of young adult US Citizens to aid in human smuggling. This has been a growing problem with the traffickers using social media to promise a payoff for driving a car.
Art tells us about a confrontation between a British woman who wanted to get in a verbal confrontation with him. What a Week…

EPISODE 408 – Speak It AND Mean It!
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto tells us about the recent clearing of the Horse Patrol in the Criminal Investigation of the Agents in the Horse Patrol that were in Del Rio Sector. Art explains what the Split Reins are and how Agents use these. While they have been cleared in the Criminal Investigation why hasn’t the administrative portion of the Agency also cleared them. Art is disappointed in the response of Chief Ortiz who has also served along with the Horse Patrol yet did not speak up.

EPISODE 407 : On The Trail with Juan Ciscomani
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto starts off the show with a discussion of how the Elimination of Title42 is going to bring a surge of illegal activity to the southern border, not just those trying to allude Agents crossing illegally but also drugs and other contraband which can negatively impact the United States.

EPISODE 406 : No Consequences
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto is back from a Leadership Course and talks about how he is now a kinder and gentler individual. In this trip to Tampa, Art notices much about the area he was in and wonders about how Tampa operates with comparisons to the town he loves, Tucson. We get some insight into what happens when your flight gets cancelled on the day you are supposed to fly home.
Art gives testimony during a hearing on issues with Border Security and how it effects Tribal Land. Art is surprised by the no care attitude from some that were on this panel. Even though the illegal crossings still were on the increase in 2016 during the previous administration, the current state of the situation has grown at an astronomical rate because there are no consequences. The Drug trafficking through tribal lands has also been on the rise as the Cartels are using the opportunity while Border Patrol Agents have their hands full processing the numbers of those now crossing with the Administration “Open Door” policy.

EPISODE 404 : Singing with the Choir
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto talks about the an old tradition within some Agents, Choir Practice. For this, At the end of a Shift Agents would gather away from work and discuss the situations they may have run into while on Shift. There were downsides to this gathering but on the upside, Agents could unwind and have ears regarding thoughts on ways to make it better. Today, social media seems to be the way some Agents connect with each other. Many different pages for these connections have developed however Art isn’t 100% on this way of these connections and talks about why.
Art talks about a story of a reporter from Frontline America, Ben Bergquam and recently running into him. Ben calls himself a Political Evangelist and talks ProAgent and the mission of the Border Patrol. Ben was in Yuma recently and was recently detained by Border Patrol while covering a story on Illegal Crossings. The Area was a high traffic zone for illegal activity and Ben still had his phone and was live streaming during his detainment. Art tells us what happened with the information he received from Ben. The serves as a note that the public does need understand these Agents were doing their duties during this. Art wishes that management would have issued a statement about this. Yet, Nothing about this. Art wishes the Agency would use social media to inform and protect the Agents against Rumor and Speculation.
Art shares the latest on the numbers on Gotaways, Asylum Entries and the number of drugs which have been also taken off the streets in Illegal entries and smuggling attempts.

EPISODE 403 : Letting It All Hang Out!
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto starts with a discussion of Health and tells us a story about a visit to a dermatologist with concerns about a spot which appeared at the top of his head. With his concerns about staying healthy he gets a full body exam yet didn’t quite understand the process to get it done. Even though Art’s story has us laughing, the risk of Agents in the field under the sun can he a danger and Art stresses the use of Sunscreen and hats. Staying in shape is also important for Agents and keeping up with regular checkups from medical professionals.
We see more cases of the brutality across the southern border, Art tells us about some of the battles that have taken place with the battle between cartels which in some cases innocent lives have been taken. Even the US Consulate in Mexico was attacked recently. This no doubt can spill over onto US Soil. While the world is focused on the situation in the Ukraine the situation along the southern border has not gotten better. Art tells us about an individual running for Governor and some of the comments which are painting the picture of the furthest from the truth of the problems along the border.
We are reminded that with the news of Apprehensions, while some are satisfied, they these people were captured, some forget to understand even with 165k Apprehensions, most are then released into the United States.

EPISODE 402 – A Bite of The Sandwhich
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art talks about the previous Green Line Episode with Don Frye and then gets right into the show. Art tells us about his daughter’s birthday and what she was requesting for her birthday and a trip to Top Golf. Art checks out a Gun Show in Tucson and talks about chatting at Jim Lamon there. Mr. Lamon is currently in the running for the U.S. Senate and has the Endorsement of the National Border Patrol Council. We learn about Art’s trip from the event stopping to get a burger and forced to try something different, a no meat burger.
There is a Lack of Consequence for those committing not only the crime of illegally entering the country but also those that have committed assaults against Agents during an arrest. Another problem has been with those that FTY or Fail to Yield when an agent is attempting a traffic stop. Art believes that truly enforcing the immigration laws and prosecuting those offenders could help in the public safety of US Citizens.
For many including the Cartels, this period in our history has created an opportunity to not only cross illegally but the introduction of drugs and weapons in cases with that mix. This fiscal Year over 65k pounds of meth has been seized, how much has gotten through?

EPISODE 401 : The Predator Don Frye!
In this week’s episode of The Green Line Radio Show, we welcome to the show Arizona Resident Don “The Predator” Frye. As Art calls him, a Real American Hero. The UFC fighter has many fans around the world who have come to respect and admire him for his fighting styles and humanity. Art tells us about Meeting Don for the first time and watching UFC matches over the years. We learn about New Japan wrestling and PrideFC as well as how UFC has changed over the years.
We also learn about his New Show Toxic Masculinity that he does with Dan Severn. The podcast has developed a large following and can be viewed on YouTube. Don has been a fireman and talks with Art about his experience. Don shares his respect for Agents of the Border Patrol.
