This episode is dedicated to Tony Ponzio, get well soon.

At the outset of the episode Shawn Moran and Thane Gallagher being with the usual recap of social media messages and emails from listeners.

The first topic of discussion is, of course, the terror attacks in San Bernardino, CA. The talk ranges from what part Border Patrol agents played in the response to the responsibility of Islamic community leaders to do more to root out radicalized Muslims.

They also discuss Attorney General Lynch’s nonsensical comments about changing law enforcement and protecting Muslims. Shawn and Thane are then joined by JJ Carrell and Art Velez, both Border Patrol supervisors and past contestants on CBS’s show, The Amazing Race.

The four then talk about past experiences in the Border Patrol, current events, and Art and JJ’s experience on The Amazing Race. It is a fun, lively discussion that won’t disappoint.

After the second commercial break, NBPC Local 2913 President Mike Cox calls in to discuss the case of an agent being disciplined for carrying his M-4 rifle.

This episode is long but worth the time. We think you will agree it is one of the best interviews of 2015.
