In this Weeks Show “Texas Tamales” – Art and Chris share the news of a Border Patrol agent serving in the El Paso Sector that was kidnapped and brutally assaulted, according to information that was provided by Breitbart Texas. The guys share their disappointment that the information was provided by the media and not by CBP officials. Is it the responsibility of the officials at CBP to inform the sectors and agents of this situation, as well as the public, when this information becomes public?

While border crossing numbers are beginning to slowly increase, the guys share some numbers on the “catch and release” program that continues to this day. BP agents at the Ajo Station get some major props for the conditions they work in, as well as the excellent work that they do. Should CBP take a look at the hardships for agents at certain stations?

Agent Jose Daniel Barraza, Agent Manuel “ Manny” Alvarez, Agent David Gomez, Agent Javier Vega Jr. were memorialized this week during Police Week in Washington DC. Hosts Art Del Cueto and Chris Cabrera and special guest Paul Perez, President of Local 3307 discuss the importance of honoring the lives of fallen and making sure they are never forgotten.
