Episode 515 – But Wil It Work?
For this weeks The Green Line Radio Show has been very busy with interviews about the Border Situation and many of these from East Coast Stations which means he has had to get up really, really early to do interviews, but he also has to go to bed really late because he is still doing interviews. One of the key features was discussing the Executive Action from the Biden Administration on the Border.Â
It is important to note however, Â President Biden has released over 2.8 million people into the country more than the population of Chicago, Our third largest city. While Art is somewhat hopeful for any discussion on the Border he is sceptacle due to the fact that President Biden claimed that he couldn’t take executive action to fix the abuse of the asylum system. Now less than six months before the election. He claims he suddenly has the authority to act under his new rules.Â
Art points out that Under this Executive Action, the 1st 2500 that are coming in will still then have to be processed and then needed to determine if they request asylum. Once you hit that point, What they’re saying is everyone else is going to be set back, right? In a perfect world, that would work. It worked under the Trump administration, Art explains the differences. We also learn why this Action however could lead to a rise in Child Trafficking.Â
Andy ask Art about the Summer Heat and those Agents that are going be out there in the field. Art reminds us even in 113 degrees, They still go out there in the field and as he says The US Border Patrol is one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world and continues its work today.Â
