In this Week’s The Greenline Radio Show, Art Del Cueto has returned from official business in Washington D.C. Art shares the outcome of the recent elections for the National Border Patrol Council. With an address to the Council by President Trump, naysayers have stepped up to shoot down the work of the NBPC.
While Art was visiting Washington D.C. he had the opportunity to visit some historic monuments. He talks with Andy about the deep personal meaning of being able to visit the Vietnam Wall Memorial. With the many memorials throughout the Nation’s Capital, Art believes the statue in Downtown Tucson of Poncho Villa could be replaced with a different statue, maybe Edward James Olmos in a Zoot Suit.
Art tells of getting to meet senior leadership at the gathering and has a good feeling of the relationship between the leadership and NBPC. Art shares some startling numbers on illegal drugs being confiscated by Border Patrol Agents.

EPISODE 294 : The Finer Moments
For this Week’s Radio Show the Green Line, Art Del Cueto begins the show with a discussion on the acquittal of President Trump’s impeachment charges. The State of the Union Speech from the President was also discussed. Art shares disappointment, not in the Address but the actions from Speaker Pelosi. Some are saying the President Dissed Speaker Pelosi while Art feels the missed handshake just went unnoticed. The ripping up of the transcript of the State of Union however was a flagrant disregard of the Office by Speaker Pelosi.
Art breaks down some of the fine moments of the President’s Address. Rush Limbaugh in this past week shared his diagnoses of Stage 4 Cancer and is honored by the President at the State of The Union. The guys share how cancer has impacted their lives.
While the numbers across the country in illegal crossings have dropped, the numbers of Tucson have stayed on an upward trend with cartels attempting to get drugs across the borders. Art tells us of yet another case of a suspect in human smuggling attempting to evade and run from Agents takes lives. Art shares an update on the recent apprehension of the last member of the RIP crew involved in the death of Agent Brian Terry.

EPISODE 293 : Elderberries
In this Week’s The Greenline Radio Show, Art Del Cueto has been dealing with a bad cold and the guys talk about the remedies he’s been trying including Elderberries and Zinc. With the recent scare of the Corona Virus, the guys talk about safety of Agents and how they are dealing with potential issues of this growing epidemic. Art is a guest on Stephanie Hamill’s show America Uncensored and talk’s about the latest in Border Issues as well as precautions and how Agents are caring and keep an eye out for those in detention facilities that could be dealing with illness to get them treatment.
Art recaps the story in the Phoenix New Times regarding Burritos which have been served at detention facilities which supposedly have been making some ill. Comments from CBP Spokesperson Meredith Mingledorff surprised Art with the statements she had made regarding these burritos which shed a bad light on Agents at the Processing facility in Tucson.
The guys return After a Quick break to handle a situation that occurred during the recording. President Trump has called for stricter regulations regarding the administering of the issuing of Green Cards. Art talks about the double standard from Critics regarding this. Carla Provost retires at Airtime for the show and the new Chief of the Border Patrol is Rodney Scott.

EPISODE 292 : A Round Of Donuts
In this Week’s The Greenline Radio Show, Art Del Cueto talks about his trip to Phoenix to testify regarding a Bill, Arizona HB2084, to allow private home and ranch owners along the southwest Arizona border to build a Private Wall. Art shares info on those that are for this bill as well as those that oppose it. The Numbers of Violent murders in Mexico can be a telling story of the dangers of violent crime spilling into the United States. Art talks about the support from various law enforcement agencies regarding this bill.
Art talks about a lunch in Phoenix with Joe Clure and Mark Spencer. Both were Law Enforcement in Phoenix. The place they went to eat at was packed with Law Enforcement. EPISODE 291 : Guard Pups On Duty
For this Week’s The Greenline, Art talks about the outgoing Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost and her planning to exit her post this month. Who will be filling the position and the names that have come up? Andy asks about the difference in the positions between Mark Morgan and Carla Provost. Art Del Cueto talks about who he thinks could be perfect for the position but holds off on announcing the name.
Art shares a story about pups born into the family and how the instinct of the mother towards the pups is amazing and beautiful! The number of pups surprised him! An upcoming conference will be taking place for Council staff to continue to serve the Agents of the Border Patrol with the latest in the CBA and issues facing Agents.

The guys talk about the recent scandal involving the Houston Astros, Andy shares his total lack of baseball knowledge. Drug seizures have been on the increase in the Tucson Sector. Art talks about the lack of a barrier along the Tohono O’ Odham reservation as a possible source for not only this but also illegal human crossing.

EPISODE 290 : Don’t Eat The Baby!
In this Week’s The Greenline, Art Del Cueto talks about celebrating his birthday and what happens when you leave the phone behind and take on some two wheel therapy. The subject comes up regarding child separation and Art talks about the understanding of the circumstances of breaking the law.
The Sentencing phase has occurred for the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry December 15th 2010. The sentence was Life imprisonment for Heracilio Osario-Arellanes. A jury found him guilty in Brian Terry’s death back in February. We learn of his flee from justice and arrest and subsequent trial. Statements made from the Attorney representing Osario-Arellanes angered Border Patrol Management, Agents and of course the National Border Patrol Council. We learn of those statements in this broadcast.

EPISODE 289 : Prune Juice On The House!
For this Week’s The Greenline, National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto shares of the passing of a Border Patrol Agent who some years ago was involved in an On-Duty Vehicle Accident and became disabled as a result of this accident. Sadly Art passes the news of his passing.
“Experts in the field” while sounds catchy, it has lately been used to not truly represent what is happening on the border. A Tour of the Border and segments on media does not issue a certificate for continued “expertise” of the situation at the border.
Art tells us about the Tucson Shriners Organization and how they are coming together for a Motorcycle Toy/Poker Run coming up January 4th 2020. We learn more about the Shriners and how they provide comfort and medical solutions for children.
Art has a talk at an outdoor event with an Oro Valley Police Officer and how some of the drugs that make the way across the borders are affecting all areas of southern Arizona. Art shares some info on Drug Tunnels and lately the news of an uptick on discovering them. We learn some info on the complexity of some of these tunnels.

EPISODE 288 : Nothing a Year In the Tropics Wouldn’t Fix!
In this Week’s The Greenline, Art Del Cueto talks about the loss of an inspiration who helped guide him to join the Border Patrol. Numbers of crossers from Countries other than South America are growing. A recent report shows many attempting crossings from Haiti and other countries. 70% of those crossing are from countries other than Mexico. Tucson Sector has seen a rise in number of captures versus those asking for asylum.
President of The National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd visits the show to talk about the end of the year and the mission of the NBPC as we look forward to 2020. Art and Brandon talk about a recent article which attacks the NBPC which was published in the Washington Post.
