In this Week’s Episode of the Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto shared his experiences at two recent events involving former President Trump. Art also discussed his recent experience as a speaker at a political event, where he met various people, including a Hispanic pastor and the head of the Republican party in Arizona. He emphasized the ongoing issues at the border and the challenges of explaining complex data to the public.

With the dissemination of News in Mind, Art also discussed the influence of Spanish news networks on the Latino community, expressing his belief that they have lost their mark by constantly attacking Trump. He suggested that a change in approach by these networks is needed, using the term “Basta” (meaning enough) to start pushing a different agenda. Art Del Cueto also shared his individual experiences growing up in his household and how this has influenced his views. He contrasted the pride and sense of duty he believes immigrants had in the past with the sense of entitlement he perceives in a number of immigrants today. Art Del Cueto emphasized the need to break barriers and understand different perspectives, using his own bilingual abilities as an example. When it comes to political promises, Art proposed a movement called “Basta!” to call out those who have made false promises and to encourage the community to walk away from the situation.

Art discussed the issue of numbers related to immigration encounters and asylum claims. He pointed out that the DHS numbers showed over 3 million encounters from May 2023 to May 2024, but this did not include the 30,000 people flown in from Central America each month. Art Del Cueto questioned the administration’s strategy of flying these people in, suggesting it could be to avoid criminal elements in Mexico. He also criticized the administration’s handling of asylum claims, noting that they do not have a plan for processing these cases. Looking closer to home, Art also mentioned the challenges faced by businesses in Tucson due to homelessness and drug addiction. He called for a bigger movement to say “enough” “BASTA” and for more effective action to be taken.

In the Wrap up of this week’s show, Art Del Cueto discussed his recent event with Dr. Phil. He also shared the sad news of the deaths of two agents, one found unresponsive at home and the other in a car accident in Kingsville Texas. Art Del Cueto emphasized the importance of prayer and support for law enforcement. He encouraged listeners to follow his show on various platforms and to stay safe.
