Teri Keefe is a firearms instructor who specializes in teaching women about personal safety and instruction on Firearms. Her company, Take Charge, LLC, helps women of all ages and abilities to create their own personal safety plan, including which tools to use and how to use them. In her training, Teri covers topics such as when to use lethal force and when it is appropriate to simply stop a threat, as well as which tools are best suited to different situations. This includes firearms, pepper gel, personal alarms, and basic self-defense moves.

Great interview! I found Teri through her business card at PPC. In 2020 I decided to purchase a pistol for self defense and went shopping with a retired cop. I didn’t chose wrongly, thankfully, as I love my Hellcat. I shot with this crusty, but very nice, man a few times and then realized he was not going to be my shooting buddy nor was a great instructor. I got in touch with Teri, and as they say, the rest is history. I am so thankful for what she has taught me, and thankful for what she is doing for all the women in Tucson who want to learn to shoot safely. She is a gift to us all!
