For this Week’s The Green Line, Art Del Cueto talks about the many ways to connect with the radio show through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter instead of Texting; although the downside to texting is when somebody gets your number then can pilfer the gas points! The CBA is done and talks about some of the comments from Agents now that it is accomplished. The process to get this CBA completed came ahead of executive orders and thus has certainly helped the Agents.

Art shares some tragic news of the passing of On-Duty Agent Robert Hotten. Agent Hotten served in the Agency for about 10 years. The Green Line extends Much Respect and Condolences to his family and fellow agents.

Art talks about Garrett Lewis, Morning Man at KNST-AM Tucson, and his recent gathering at Mr. An’s Restaurant. It was a good time meeting others that listened to The Green Line.

A story was recently published which focuses on a legal case which involves a retired male senior border patrol officer and female subordinate agent. While this Legal Matter is being tried in the court system, it then throws shadows on the Agency and the good work of the Men and Woman of the Border Patrol. Lots of questions however we will have to wait and see how this is handled in the legal system.

Numbers of those apprehended in the Tucson Sector are not something to be overjoyed about. An Increase has been witnessed and this can be a clear indication of the need of better barriers or a Border Wall. Art shares a story about getting the Bird! He was simply informing a woman her car was vandalized by a political sticker. We learn how tough Abuela Del Cueto truly was!
