For this week’s “The Green Line” we begin with Art Del Cueto in Washington D.C. readying for the State of the Union Address. Art attends the “SOTU” as a guest of Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ 5th District). The trip has included meetings and business for the National Border Patrol Council continuing to bring to light the needs of Border Patrol Agents. Art talks about the process of attending the State of the Union and concerns of the upcoming date for the budget of the federal government and possibility of another shutdown.

Condolences and Respect to the family of Agent Donna Doss, A 16 year Veteran who lost her life On Duty Saturday Feb 2nd in Abilene Texas. Art talks about the impact felt from not only agents who served alongside Agent Doss but those across the country.

In the second half of the show Art returns to the Studios in Tucson after the State of the Union Address. Art gives us a description of the process, those that were focused on the address and those that weren’t. Art also talks about the Pre Meet and Greet before the SOTU and observations of Rep. Alexandria Ocasia Cortez (D-NY 14th District). There is concern that some elected officials are aligning with socialism.

A moment in history for Art with the ability along with Brandon Judd to attend the State of the Union and looking ahead to the week, the 15th is around the corner. Andy asks Art if he feels there is progress toward support for Border Security, the answer is surprising.
